I'm sure you're familiar but here's a refresher on our fab founder. Meet Larissa Muehleder, our CEO is stopping the show in the Pink/Red color lock Made You Look Dress in a size Small. She rocked this look with a pair of red satin ankle-strapped kitten heels. Fun Fact: Larissa is not only the founder but she also designs every single item herself from scratch. “I need to be a part of the design process because one sketch can turn into tthree new ideas as the design develops. Rarely is the dress the same as the original vision. It always evolves as I design it with my team and that’s the best part; letting the design come to you.” She says.
Larissa began her career by designing custom prom dresses, bridal dresses, and gowns for special occasions and has only expanded from there. With features in magazines including Vogue, SELF, Essence, Cosmopolitan, and celebrity sightings including Issa Rae, Angela Simmons, Letitia Wright, and Normani, Muehleder has become a brand to take notice of. The designer herself was highlighted in CFDA's issue in May of 2022, where she discusses the wins and losses that brought her to where she is today and how she plans to continue turning her dreams into a reality. When asked what keeps her motivated, she replied.
"As far as motivation, my clients keep me motivated. I listen to them via comments and product reviews and focus on what they want because they're the ones spending their money, so they call the shots."
Larissa plans to take the fashion label to a global scale within the next two years to reach her goal of making the brand more accessible to women everywhere.
"AS MUCH AS WE LOOK TO THE PAST TO GUIDE OUR FUTURE WE MUST ALSO CELEBRATE OUR JOURNEY AND THE DOORS WE ARE OPENING FOR WOMEN LIKE US TO COME THROUGH. I WANTED TO HAVE THIS DINNER TO RECOGNIZE MY FRIENDS AND HOW FAR THEY HAVE COME. WE ARE CREATING HER-STORY EVERYDAY!" - LARISSA MUEHLEDER
