The Muehleder SS16 Collection titled Floating Blossoms was inspired by Andy Warhol's paintings "Flowers." Below are a few of the paintings from the Flowers Collection of 1964-1965.

Designer Larissa Muehleder, drew inspiration from the bold colors and pronounced floral shapes. The lace used in the collection has a texture produced from spun silk thread. The result is an outstanding floral pattern that looks intricate and luxurious.

"This collection was designed for a summer romance."- Larissa Muehleder

The acrylic painted flowers that appear to be floating over the green grassland inspired the hand cut floral lace that appear to be floating below key dresses in the Muehleder SS16 Collection. The name of the collection, Floating Blossoms, is derived from this concept.Beyonce Green Dress Muehleder
