The Muehleder SS16 Collection titled Floating Blossoms was inspired by Andy Warhol's paintings "Flowers." Below are a few of the paintings from the Flowers Collection of 1964-1965.

 

Designer Larissa Muehleder, drew inspiration from the bold colors and pronounced floral shapes. The lace used in the collection has a texture produced from spun silk thread. The result is an outstanding floral pattern that looks intricate and luxurious.

The acrylic painted flowers that appear to be floating over the green grassland inspired the hand cut floral lace that appear to be floating below key dresses in the Muehleder SS16 Collection. The name of the collection, Floating Blossoms, is derived from this concept.Beyonce Green Dress Muehleder

This season includes easy to wear statement pieces made of our intricate floral lace, silk georgette and our signature neoprene. 

Keeping with the Muehleder trademark of feminine and flirtatious style, SS 2016 layers in lace and vibrant pops of color.
